01Overview
VisiPill is a smart medication management system designed to improve medication adherence. The project involved full product development: custom hardware design, embedded firmware, mobile applications, and cloud infrastructure.
02The challenge
Medication non-adherence is a $300B healthcare problem. Existing solutions were either too complex for elderly users or lacked the intelligence needed for caregivers. The solution needed to be technically sophisticated yet incredibly simple to use.
03The solution
A pill dispenser with integrated sensors, LED indicators, and wireless connectivity. The embedded firmware manages real-time scheduling and alerts, while the mobile app provides caregivers with visibility and peace of mind. The cloud platform enables healthcare providers to monitor adherence patterns.
